It all started when...

The walkabout was planned and organized in 2005 by Monty Andrews then Vice President of the Venice Area Beautification, Inc

Saturday mornings starting at 8 AM.

All ages are welcome.  Free, no fees, no dues.

We want to promote physical fitness for all ages and the sense of well being that comes from being outdoors in our beautiful city.  We generally walk about two and a half miles, but you may walk at your own pace and distance.

When we reach 1000 mile goals (collectively as a group) we plan small celebrations such as pot luck brunches.
